Informed decision-making is one of the most important things you can do to maximize your health. It's beneficial to have a trusted physician by your side who will listen closely to your medical concerns and who can provide an independent medical opinion while remaining openminded, thoughtful, and non-judgmental.
As a solo practitioner, I understand that critical thinking, spiritual strength, and physical health are more important elements to maintaining personalized health care goals versus a one-size-fits-all computerized algorithm.
If you are a Pennsylvanian who is looking to add a physician to your healthcare team, I am available for telehealth and medical appointments from Bucks County for all age groups., including school physicals at your home in Bucks or Montgomery County.
I have spent approximately 10 years as a physician professionally specializing in clinical benefit/risk assessments, including the detailed analysis of medical & safety concerns of study participants, the detection new drug adverse events and emerging safety issues (for both experimental and commercially-available drugs) via data mining & sound medical judgment, and the authoring and/or review of medical information (such as informed consent) and drug safety reports to ensure scientifically-transparent and ethical descriptions of known and potential risks of medication use are provided to physicians (investigator-physicians and community-based physicians) and their patients. Given the current intersection of public health, new experimental treatments, and various clinical care options brought forth during this pandemic-era, my experience and training as an unbiased and scientifically rigorous physician overseeing the safety of thousands of clinical study participants provides a unique perspective in my clinical practice.
My career in the medical field started in 2001 as an Aerospace Medical Technician in the military. After serving 4 years, I was accepted into Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in 2005, and earned an M.D. in 2009. Following an internal medicine internship, I completed my medical residency training and clinical practice in the specialty of General Preventive Medicine & Public Health in 2012 at the University of Kentucky, where I also simultaneously earned my M.P.H.
Additional interests include medical humanities, patient advocacy, occupational health (including rural health, veteran health), and pandemic diseases.
"Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's." 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
I look forward to providing you and your family with the understanding and support you are looking for in your healthcare journey.
May God continue to bless you and those around you, as you continue to glorify Him.
"And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ." Colossians 3:23-24
